BARRED ANTSHRIKES, ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

The first two photos show a male Barred Antshrike and the last photo a female.  We can ID the male bird in the first two photos as a Barred Antshrike by its black color barred all over with white and white crest tipped with black.  The female  has chestnut brown upperparts, buffy underparts and chestnut crest.
The Barred Antshrike is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 550.
