WHITE-TAILED KITES, RESEARCH ROAD, EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK, HOMESTEAD, FL, 1/7/2016

Even though these photos were taken at a long distance (with the first photo then being enlarged) and are somewhat fuzzy, we can ID these two hawks as White-tailed Kites by their bright white undersides contrasting with their bold, black shoulders and by their short, black bills.  Also, the grasslands habitat of the area is what they generally like.
The White-tailed Kite is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 512.
