EMERALD-SPOTTED WOOD-DOVE, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

We can ID this dove as an Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove by its wing-spots (color depends on light), part of one of its black bands showing, rufous showing from its wings and bluish-grey crown.  Also, the very similar Blue-spotted Wood-Dove is generally not in the Chobe area, while the Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove is.
The Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 418.
