BIRDING ALONG THE NIAGARA RIVER - April 16 - 17, 2015

This past Thursday and Friday Sharon and I went on a trip to Niagara Falls, ON.  On Thursday we went to Dufferin Islands Park, which is across the Niagara Parkway from the Ontario Hydro Power Plant gatehouse on the Niagara River.  On Friday we drove on the Niagara Parkway from Niagara Falls to Ft. Erie.  We then drove back to Niagara Falls and from there to Niagara-On-The-Lake, again along the Niagara Parkway.
Here are photos from our trip.

HARD TO MAKE OUT WHAT THESE ARE -
I BELIEVE THE 2 BIRDS IN THE BACKGROUND ARE

LONG TAILED DUCKS, STILL IN WINTER PLUMAGE.
THE BIRD IN THE FOREGROUND IS PROBABLY
A SNOW GOOSE.  LAKE ONTARIO FROM
